Stone hanging is one of the objects Tourism Objectives contained in the vicinity of Lake Toba, North Sumatra. Stone is located on a cliff hanging hills located on the edge of Lake Toba. The distance is about 3 KM from the city of Parapat. To view the Hanging rock can be reached by using a Speed Boat or boat with a time of 45 minutes.
According to information obtained from local traditional leaders, hanging stone is the incarnation of a local village girl named Chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemum is always sad and depressed because her parents set her up with his own cousin who is not loved. He (chrysanthemums) always together with a Dog "the Toki".
One day, Chrysanthemum and his dog went to the Edge of the hills while contemplating his fate, Chrysanthemum suddenly mired in a hole and squeezed by a big rock ....
Chrysanthemum desperate and he appealed to God (Na Boloni) to die.
Finally there is an incident in that place, earthquakes, rain storms and strong winds ....
The next day the local residents see, there is a kind of stone that are similar to the girl with black hair loose which is attached at one of the steeply sloping hills on the shores of Lake Toba.
